shimon Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Hello guys as i discovered bricklink i got myself some good looking shiny parts so i decided to build a structure using these parts and adding some interesting features *- a very good working door technique slides both door with absolutely no friction! *- pf lights Ive made it for the LDD contest too but i need to recreate the file it was supposed to continue from the right side but the contest allows 2500 bricks so i had to cut it off anyway tell me what you think of it as a first attempt: i got more pictures but they are too big as i heard only 800 x 600 allowed cheers. Big Cam Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 It looks really cool, is that a slide out balcony? Also the tiled look, really looks good here. Is there any story behind it? Who is it for, agents? Quote
nucleon Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 It looks modern and clear , more objects detail. great work!! Quote
Fires-storm Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Wow, that truly a stunning building, I love the technique, the shaped, the playability, the detail, every single thing about it! Well done mate, and keep bricking Quote
shimon Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 thanks guys! it was supposed to be bigger i cut it for a contest i forgot to mention all the floors are removable and the door mechanism is placed under the gear if anybody want i can take clear pics of it Quote
meliander Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 I like how this building looks and the interior, too. The only thing that seems slightly weird to me is the two types of parapet you used on the roof. Is that because of the lack of these parts or this is by design? Anyway it works as a great secret agents base, good work! if anybody want i can take clear pics of it Yes, please! :) I'd look at them with pleasure. Even maybe you can shoot a short video..? Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Excellent designing there 'shimon' - I can see some of the sliding door mechanisms - very clever indeed. Overall the building is very good, but I raise one question, command centre for what ? Anyway, good work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
prateek Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Very nice! I like every detail! Just to let you know, since you already posted this here, I don't think you're allowed to post it as an entry to the competition. Quote

First of all thanks everyone now you're right i ran out if the black bars so i had to come up with something.. i will make a vid of the doors soon to 'Prateek' are you sure im not allowed to post it ? because if i had posted it in the contest there would be no comments and i really worked hard on it.. (and i hope to get the emerald night) on the other hand. Quote

Lego_Hero Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 That's an awesome playset! My favorite part is the potted plant on the ground floor. Nothing says command center like a nice arrangement of flowers! Seriously though, the command room, the rock structure, the roof... all top notch. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 I like the overall smoothness of the building - great SNOT techniques. Good job! Quote
