GoN2Broadway Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Colonial Marine's are some of the toughest units throughout the galaxies, and this unit proves his worth. Sporting a Brickarms Combat Shotgun, Brickarms Helmet, and a modified Brickarms weapon (inspired by Catsy and Thel) that functions as a flamethrower :) He also is protected by a modified Brickforge Space Marine Armor :) The helmet modifications are: I need to do one last coat of paint on the helmet to cover the super-glue residue, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. Thanks! Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 That is one tough-lookin' mofo, hah. I like the dry-brushing. The only thing that bugs me a little is the fingerprints on the flamethrower, I'm guessing you sculpted a little there? Of course, we could always just say that's duct tape texture ;) Quote

I'm tempted to redo the pain with a flat black base, then do green highlights that would match the armor, then possibly do a drybrushing of the weapon with a metallic dull silver. I'll let you know how it goes ;) Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 I only point it out because that's how my custom action figures would look when I started, I would forget to sand the areas I sculpted so sometimes there would be physical fingerprints and would show-up with the dry-brushing on top. Yeah, sorry about the nitpicking, to be honest, no one would even complain about that except for someone like me with mild OCD :D Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Nice. I like the custom helmet. And the tribal tats are good details too. Great job! Quote
