lt.Gonville brickhead Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 (edited) This is a link to the moc of the invisible hand I made http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/177126 comments and critisism welcome Edited June 30, 2010 by lt.Gonville brickhead Quote
Corydoras Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Sorry, but... I don't like it at all. I feel there's something wrong with your MOC - the proportions are off, the model is too slim and very bulky, it lacks all the details and curves that make the original ship so beautiful... Quote
Big Cam Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I must aches to a point, it is very boxy, with almost no curves, it reminds me of a 1980's Lego spaceship. Just not very SW. Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Nice try, but sadly 'Big Cam' is right it doesn't look very SW ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Forresto Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 It is too boxy, but don't beat yourself over about it . It took me a long time to get past the learning curve of making curves (see what I did there ) and i'm still pretty bad at it. Curves are the one thing in Lego that's the hardest to learn for everyone. Give it a few tries and mybe look at other people's tecniques and try try again Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 (edited) Not to repeat what everyone else has said, but it is disproportionate and blocky. The aft area also looks like it's missing the bottom half. A good start, if you plan to mod Edited July 6, 2010 by Brickdoctor Quote
Enilder Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Invisible_Hand Now that you know what's "wrong", I guess more modifications can be made ;) I'd say a good starting point! Quote
