Hail friends!

The Green Grocer, Cafe Corner, Grand Emporium are just great. But I think they lack better interiors.

Although we do see some pretty nice interiors in MOCs, that doesn't seem to be a rule.

Do you have any links to modular buildings - or any building - with interiors yoou use as an example for you or that oyu just find cool? Could you please share them?

I'd recommend heading over to Brickshelf and doing a bit of surfing. You'd be surprised by the amount of various furnishings people have opted for when completing their modulars. Here's a great example with the one that started it all.

As to me, I've tried making detailed interiors, but I find it's a bit of a waste of valuable bricks. There's no doubt that minifigs enjoy their houses even more that way, but if there's no way for all those details to be seen (other than lifting the roofs/ floors), then there's not much of a point in those, at least to me. That's why I tend to focus on ground floor decoration & interiors and leave it to the minifigs to take care of the other floors (which they never do, by the way...)

I understand that decoration and furniture is one of the main ideas behind having modular structures in the first place, but I guess it's just not my personal priority.

Some of my other buildings have interiors, but of the buildings I have photographed, Those are the three that are most extensive. In particular, the Courthouse 2nd floor was an excercise in seeing how much I could convincingly fit into a 16x16 stud area.

It's a wonder there hasn't been a contest for such a thing, I would design new and redesign old departments in the GE, plus add living/sleeping and a bathroom to GG. The FB has stacks of interior, but goodness the CC original, man that needs interior badly. Once I have completed repairs to my GG, I might just start on furniture, etc,.
