Shasat Spacerider Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Hi Guys, I'm a newbie here (sorta). I made this on DesignByMe and it is worth $133. If it was a set, it would be worth $30-40. This represents a typical public bus you see in American cities. Mine is based of Chicago's CTA. The top is removable and I tried to make the seats so that a minifig can fit into them comfortably. The doors can be opened. Here be some details: I know, the back is a bit plain. If you give me tips, then I might redo this on LEGOUniverse mode. No, I don't have the pieces to actually build this, and I'm not going to buy this for $133. Enjoy. C&C would be helpful. Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 A very nice bus......but please downsize your images. Besides that, I really like the idea for the doors, nice colour selection too ! Shouldn't the rear have a 6 wide window as well as the front ? Great designing, be nice to see built for real, I'm a conformist! 'Shasat Spacerider' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 That's a pretty good design for an American bus 'Shasat'. It's a good thing you made it 8 studs-wide, which is far better-looking than the official 6 stud-wide LEGO buses. I also love the small ticket-issuing machine inside. Good job and welcome to EB! WesternOutlaw Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Please resize your images. Our site guidelines are 800x600 max. Usually, 640x480 works fine for MOC/MOD images. Quote
