lego-maniac Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Hi As you've seen, the french contest LEGO13 (L13) is very interressant (see Anna's MOC) So it's my turn now ;) And here is the "HOW TO" Not easy to do because I finally saw the moc evolve through my eyes and not through my camera! In addition to this one a super wide angle and you could not see at all the same! But stil hard to give feeling of perspective. All comments are welcome ! Quote
BlueBard Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Wonderful job, lego-maniac! It's really impressive how you've perfectly managed the perspective, BRAVO! Quote
jaredchan Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I agree with BlueBard, this is a really interesting way to create perspective and layer, great job! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 This is an extremely fun MOC that definitely put a smile on my face. The bikini top is really great! Lots of neat details and ideas. Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Excellent 'Lego-maniac' - it's like 3D - the surfer on the board is funny, the shark is thinking lunch ! Beautiful beach scene and I like your wave design too. I'm a conformist! ! Quote
LuxorV Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Very interesting composition, lego-maniac! This is probably the largest theatre-like MOC I've ever seen, and you made a wonderful job in building it. Quote
lego-maniac Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Thanks for your comments guys ! LuxorV : I've seen a very biger Theatre-like HERE. this one is motorized and so incredible ! !! But mine is not inspired from. At the beginning, I've tried to made a postcard ! :) But I'm very prood of my palm and my pirate ship Commodor : it was the aim ! I would like people have a smile seeing this moc !:) just look at Mamela Anderson Quote
Darth Yogi Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 wow that looks great and ive never seen this technique in lego good job Quote
Tom Bricks Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I like it but i think there are so many colors in the waves that it takes away from the depth that they have. Otherwise a very good job though. Quote
lego-maniac Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Yes, you're right for the colors. Too much white slops at the top of the waves. Sorry, not enough blue/dark blue slopes in my boxes. :/ I think that for further moc, I'll try to contrast each panels I'll start with light colors to dark colors with only 1 color per panel thanks for the comment ;) Quote
