lisqr Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) I just got the new world racer set, blizzard peak. I'll let someone else review it. But this set totally surprised me with the number of extra pieces it has. 28 extra to 504 pieces total = 5.56%. Also 21 of the extra are unique. Which set do you think has the most number of extras? ps. This set also has 39 of this piece in yellow with 3 as extra. Edited June 24, 2010 by lisqr Quote
prateek Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) Wow, that's insane. The most I've gotten is four, two extra cherries, a Exo-Force robot hand, and a knife. Edited June 24, 2010 by prateek Quote
super curry max Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Would 2 people buying the same set get the same extras(if there are any)? Or is it totally random? I got 3 extra apples and an extra drumstick in the prince of persia fight for the dagger set Quote

MrTools Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Well considering the size, i would say the green tractor and farmer polybag. I recently got one from the Lego store for free, and the tractor and person was about 28 pieces and it had 6 large extra parts, 25% was extra. Quote

Anything larger than the usual 1x1 round studs, tiles, and slopes and Technic pins seems to be an error. I got a few extra medium sized plates in the 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer. I also had an extra bag of minifig parts in Vladeks Dark Fortress... Quote
The Who Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I don't know if if happened to anybody else, but when I got my pre-ordered UCS Falcon in the mail, it came with almost 30 each of the left and right versions of This type of plate. I was pretty satisfied to find a pile of those left over when I was done building. I almost got mad at it for a minute because I thought I forgot to build something important, but I checked. Quote

I actual got two of them and both of them had the same extra parts, four studs one axle one 1x1 round round brick (the studs were all gray and only one gray stud was used in the build.) Quote

You probably got the 'fixed' 6211 - the plates are official to reinforce the floor. The extra bag of parts in the Dark Fortress is also a known quantity. Quote
