kris kelvin Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) Ello. My lastest MOC. Built for Lugpol diorama "Klocki Zdrój 2010" which can be seen in Warsaw (10 July - 30 September) Enjoy Flickr Brickshelf(When public). Edited June 25, 2010 by kris kelvin Quote
the Inventor Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Wow great moc kris kelvin, I really like how you've build the town hall. Especially the roof and the tower with the clock. The market looks great but a bit empty, if there were more market stalls it would be even better. But I like the center of the market with that statue. the Inventor Quote
Belchher Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 (edited) That town hall is just lovely, as are the 4 lamps at the corners of the square. I do, however, agree with the inventor. A few more stalls would really bring the market to life and make this build even more superb. edit: Just noticed the stilts! Brilliant! Edited June 22, 2010 by Belchher Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Now that's art ! AWESOME MOC 'kris kelvin' - such detail makes it AWESOME ! From the cobblestone paving, clock tower, roof, the market stalls and that staute ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Teddy Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 This is beautiful! Really love that unique roof. The quality of the MOC is awesome. Really cool how you work with that dark-(gr/bl)-ey color and use the bricks to make the texturing of an otherwise boring color interesting. Really well done. Kind regards, Teddy Quote
BlueBard Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 A wonderful creation, indeed! It's full of really impressive details like the ground technique and of course the tower and the roof of the hall I must came back to Poland Quote
benny Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Wah!!! Very nice design!!! All of your lego works are perfect products! Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Fantastic! The Hall itself is especially impressive... it's so uniform and symmetrical. For what it's worth I'm very impressed! Quote
Tabris Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Beautiful Moc Kris. Your creations just keep getting better and better. Quote
Sorrow Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Beautiful Moc Kris. Your creations just keep getting better and better. I'm afraid I have to disagree with you - Kris's creations aren't getting better and better - they're just unfailigly amazing, each and every one of them;D Quote
TheCrimsonTrooper Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Nicely done Kris. It is true that you're a fantastic builder. Quote
Jippon Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Holymoly! That is one awesome moc!!! It must have taken ages to put all the single studs on the base for the market! I really can't stop looking at this thin... Keep up the good work! Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I love it. I have never seen a roof done like that.... gives me some ideas for my castles! I love all the little architectural details. Quote
Marckeyh Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Wow just amazing! So much detail everywhere. Well done! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I have always been a big fan of your creations. This beautiful hall is no exception. The details and design of the build are fantastic both in the building and in the square. The roof is obviously the thing that jumps out and slaps you in the face and says look at me...I am a special MOC...and well it it. Totally awesome! Quote
M'Kyuun Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 This is fantastic. I love Gothic architecture, and have long been a firm believer that it can be employed in a non-religious building. I hope someone at TLG sees this, and realizes that this works well, looks appropriately venerable, stylish, and ancient all at the same time, and fits within the adult oriented modular town sets, i.e. Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, etc. Great job all around! Quote
Apollo Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 The monument reminds me of Trafalgar Square! I just love every detail about this masterpiece Stellar work, kris! Quote
Big Cam Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Oh that's awesome, I love the roofing technique and the pebble stone flooring is just as stunning. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 WOW that's absoultely fantastic MOC, exemplary job Kris Kelvin! I love everything about it, from the roof tiles to the horseman statue, simply awesome! Quote
kris kelvin Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Thank you all for very nice comments :) It`s very nice. The market looks great but a bit empty, if there were more market stalls it would be even better. But I like the center of the market with that statue. the Inventor I do, however, agree with the inventor. A few more stalls would really bring the market to life and make this build even more superb. It`s indeed a bit empty, but there will be some changes. Don`t forget that will be a part of bigger diorama and it will be surrounded by many other buildings, so it will look different :) On one side there will be this (Hippotam`s work): And in front will be Church (Zgredek`s work) I must came back to Poland Necessarily I'm afraid I have to disagree with you - Kris's creations aren't getting better and better - they're just unfailigly amazing, each and every one of them;D I feel ashamed So once again Thank you all Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 It's truely a piece of art The town hall is really well done and so is the statue. All the small details just above the clock are very ingenious when you take a better look at it. I can't wait to see the bigger diorama, good luck with that! Quote
anna Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Wow amazing, i'm very fan of your MOC! Very beautiful creation! Quote
