BlueBard Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Really nice Good design, especially the river section, and of course really peaceful Quote
Mrcool1804 Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Good MOC! I like what you did with the lake bank, the vegetation looks great! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Very nice Anna. I love the camper. You've certainly created a nice little scene here that gets me back into vacation mode. I think this deserves some front page attention. Quote
TheCrimsonTrooper Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Nice work. I don't know what else I can say that has not already been said. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Awesome The camper is great (the curtain is a nice detail) and I also like the bbq. France is a very popular destination for us dutch people and this is exactly what we have in mind when we go there Good job, keep it up! Quote
mattlegodude Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Very good. Seems like you used the cowboy from the collectable minifigures line as the fisherman. Anyway, very creative. Quote
Bartram Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Great job! The little trailer looks amazing and fits perfectly into the scene. Are those the army minifig bases from Toy Story along the base of the water? Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 A masterful creation. I like how you did the pond and the marshy. The camper is very impressive and all the little vignettes around the camp are wonderful. A great MOC Quote
Renthicya Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 A little camp with a lake... It's holidays! Really nice! Quote
anna Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Great job! The little trailer looks amazing and fits perfectly into the scene. Are those the army minifig bases from Toy Story along the base of the water? Yes it is! Thanks all, i'm very happy to be in the frontpage of eurobricks! Quote
Zorbas Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Great work anna! The caravan looks beautiful and I love all the surroundings. Great use of the Toy Story Army Men base piece. As others have already daid, it is indeed a very relaxing scene. (If we take for granted that the little boy handles the bow and arrow properly of course! ) Keep up the great work! Quote
BeKindRewind Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I can think of very few uses for the Toy Story armymen bases so HUGE props to you for blending them in seamlessly. But my favorite part is the roasted marshmallow! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 What a lovely summer holiday scene 'anna'! Excellent job! I love everything about the MOC, from the camper, to the lemon (?) tree, to the target-at-the-tree trunk, the small lake, it's simply fully loaded! Your MOC is really frontpage-worthy. Congrats! Swiss Army Droid Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 This is a very well done MOC. I have always liked dios/vigs but normally when a vehicle gets put in one it becomes the center of the dio. I don't like that because people who do that are basically making a vehicle, putting it on a baseplate with some foliage, and calling it a dio. Your MOC however is excellent because we obviously see a well done vehicle but it doesn't defeat the purpose of a dio: to show us a scene. But what's with your minifigs? Do you have to rub it in that you got collectible minifigs and I didn't? Quote
copperwonder Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Yeah, this is great! The camper is well done! Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 That's a totally awesome MOC, anna! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and has that a calm and lovely atmosphere! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter Quote
anna Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 And, this MOC is now blogged in, Thanks classic-town! Quote
