As my wife is just watching a documentation on the Danish Court and the Danish Crownprince, I wonder if they (little crownprinces/ses) get at least one of each production set :cry_happy:

That would really be a treat!

The family of Crownprince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited LEGOWORLD in Copenhagen in February this year. I think it's safe to say that the kids like LEGO.

I don't think TLG gives LEGO to these kids, TLG give LEGO sets to kids in need, like kids in South Africa or kids in the Gaza strip.

I know we had a faulty production of Bionicle canisters a few years ago, simply missing to put instructions in a number of canisters.

Instead of trying to adjust these faulty produced Bionicle products, or simply scraping them, they were sent to South Africa for charity.

Here is the Crown Prince of Denmark at LEGOWORLD 2010 in Copenhagen, having a talk with an AFOL.

Keld Kirk, the grandson of the company founder, and current owner of TLG, is in the picture too .-)

Looks like the grandson finds something or someone offensive to his nose!

That's something I didn't know about TLG - being charitable with sets

The Danes actually have a Queen at the moment, so I changed the title of your post from "King" to the more generic "Royalty" - hope that was OK. Also, for general knowledge, when a Queens marries, her husband in many countries get the title of Prince (like in Denmark), not King.
