Cutty Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Linky linky I think the author pretty much figured the main incongruences in jedi philosophy that as always alienated me from their kind. And all of their pop-culture spawn-followers on all the internet boards. What do we learn from this? Being a Jedi is a silly thing to do. Even IF you can twirl around a lightsaber (which are cool without Jedi wielding them as well, see PSO!). Quote
SuvieD Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Interesting read. Inconsistancy is the biggest failure of the whole series I-VI. Though arguably the acting in I-III is just as bad for most actors. I like how it explained what was trying to be portrayed and how it would fail despite all the effort to make it work. I also like how it is made obvious that it is love that wins over all in the end. That is why the original worked so well and the prequels didn't for me. That and the fact that George is a hack. :-D Quote
