my real name is Martin, I'm 24 years old (born in 1986) and I live in South Tyrol, which is in Italy, my mother tongue isn't italian (but I do know the language), but german.

My other hobbies are internet, PC-games, books, and movies.

btw: my nickname is reference to a trashy italian horrormovie.

and now to my Lego-story:

as a child I liked Lego very much, I a had a collection - mostly City-related. As I grew older my interest in Lego faded - until I saw a Lego-Technic Ferrari, I was very impressed by the model, but I was kind of unsure if I should buy it or not, becaus it was very pricy. I didn't took long and the Ferrari was out of print.

So I missed the Ferrari, and I tried to find another Technic-model. But I didn't find one that was attractive to me. I wanted Technic because I thought the normal Lego-series would be to childish for me.

I definitely was wrong.

I looked in every Toyshop for interesting sets, and a few weeks ago I found Darth Vader's TIE-Fighter and I was realy impressed, so I had to buy it.

Finally I discovered the huge Millenium Falcon, and this was the beginning of a new hobby.

having said this: greetings to everyone :classic:

Oh, and sorry if you find some mistakes in my writings, I try my best to improve my english.

Welcome to Eurobricks Martin! It's great to hear you rediscovered your love of LEGO through --> default_vader3.gifdefault_laugh2.gif

And don't worry about your English, LEGO is our language here, and as long as you can send your message across, we will be able to undestand you. After all, EB's vision is to unite LEGO fans around the world, so language shouldn't be a barrier. Well, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it here. Welcome once again!
