AllanSmith Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 4 wide pickups (called utes(short for utility vehicle) in NZ). They are based on Mazda BT-50 models which had the dark grey mudguard surrounds. With white canopy added. Looks a bit like a Pizza Planet delivery pickup Builders pickup with timber and tools. Enjoy Quote

Now you are going to make me want to build mine own tradie ute (though I go 6 wide for mine either Ford or Holden I'll go for). The lumber or as us ANZAC's call timber on the roof is COOL, but a crate with the rest of the tools plus a spade sticking out the back would be a great addition........oops, you forgot the most important tradie tool.........a dog ! Nice job!Keep up the good work Allan I used to make my cars, SUV's and pick ups 6 wide but have decided to standardise my layout with 4 wide cars, pick ups and SUV's.
