I don't have a huge Ninja collection (a few Samurai, some bandits, one grey and one black Ninja) and some Ninja elements (flags, ?) but I do have Castle elements. Do you have any thoughts on Ninja MOCing, other than just try it? My only plan so far is go through Ninja instructions on Peeron, look at the techniques, details, plant life, Oriental light fixtures, etc and learn from that. I've never built any official sets. Any thoughts? Quote
KotZ Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I've never built any ninja MOCs, but I have read Shogun by Jame Clavell. it gives good descriptions into how their buildings were (somewhat), and if you want to go a historical route, as you might have to pay a pretty penny for everything. A good thing to do would be to look at ancient Japanese architecture, and the geography of Japan. Japan is very mountainous, so an idea could be to design around a few BURPs or LURPs. But definitely experiment and just go for it. I hope to see your MOC if you decide to go through with it. Quote
