fredde Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 This is the High Versatility Triped-Sentient Buzzard minimech. the buzzard is a new addition to my mechaforces it is powered by an internal fusionreactor capable of sustained operation for centuries before needing refueling (the fuel is simply destilled water) the Buzzard has several variants consisting of the standardversion, a heavyversion and a sniperversion In the foreground is a standard version this is the standard version featuring arms and hands capable of using most weapons. as well as a jetpack which enables the standard version to fly. The grey little thingy on its back is the jetpack All varints of buzzards are capable of grabbing and using weapons. The left Buzzard i using a plasma carbine and the right is using an AP-65C anti tank rifle whichis basicly a light railgun that fires depleted uranium slugs. The Buzzard features a self aware sentient AI as well as jetpacks and hands. the AI enables the buzzard to act outside programming and even have genuine personalities essentialy a mind not unlike human minds. here is a closeup of the AP65C Rifle this is the heavy variant it is equipped with two gauss cannons and a pair of miniguns mounted on its "shoulders" The heavy variant has just like the other buzzard variants a unique personality that can be described as cheerful and curious outside of combat and tactical and coldblooded during combat. here is a comparison between the heavy and a standard this is a sniper variant it is equipped with a rear mounted XM7 LRSR(Long range sniper rifle) the XM7 is capable of destroying targets from several miles away. And is even capable of adjusting power to the bullet propulsion so the bullet arcs over a hill for example and onto a target. ready to fire. here is all the buzzards gathered for a group photo I love this photo for some reason. here is a pair of standards which is usually the main assault group in a battle while getting longrange support from a heavy or a sniper. since the buzzard variants are designed for hit and run attacks with little to no support they are equipped with weak shields to increase battlefield survivability and to increase speed since they dont have any extra armour to lug around (of course the heavy and the sniper arent as fast as standards. comparison to a combat android this picture is really nice according to me it makes the heavy look so...well...heavy [Walloftext] the buzzards are quite talkative and usually initiates conversations with their human companions and with other buzzards regarding varying matters they have been shown to be quite nice companions for the human soldiers as their company have increased battlefield morale(the buzzard isnt only a highly effective killing machine it is also a enjoyable killing machine). this is also another reason to why the buzzard was developed since many humans found most mech models to be arrogant and even mean which of course influenced human morale altough it is unclear whether or not the old models even understood why humans suddenly despised them. but after extensive development the buzzards AI was born which was a nice break from the usual AI personailities and complete with a new body that provided extensive combat upgrades and poof perfect little mech! [/Walloftext] in this picture a buzzard helps a human load a skiff with energy cells. A buzzard standard going for a morning walk/roll? (wheel feet equals smooth morning strolls and problems describing them) thats all folks! Quote
Navegante Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 VERY NICE. So cute! I love multipart mechs. Great Job! Quote
Noworries Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Nice. They almost look like the small mechs from the prologue scene of the Vexille Movie. Only they are a bit larger in scale :P I like those. Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Those are great mechs fredde, nice job on the build, the clever use of various parts to create small but detailed mechs. Quote
