Hello all. First I would like to thank everyone for the great work and outstanding creativity.

My son has just discovered Legos and it has given me the chance to play with them once again. I never had many growing up and never enough or the creativity to build more than a big block or a big ugly technicolor wall. Now at 38 and with my son's ever demands for new creations, and the WWW I can feel the addiction of AFOL growing in me.

A little more on me; 38, married, reside in Oklahoma, grew up in San Diego decades ago. Huge Star Wars fan, have not broken the seal of my first SW yet - too afraid that is where all of my money would go then and my son would be relegated to playing with the empty plastic bags. I am fighting real hard over buying the Endor bunker set, the urge to get the Green Grocer first is winning though.

Enough of my babbeling, thank you again.

Howdy to and from a fellow Okie! Where in the state do you live, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Tulsa (just moved here from Stillwater after I got my degree from OSU). Maybe we can help each other out in the hunt for sets that we want. As far as I know we are the only two Okies here. It's a great forum and a great resource for all things LEGO.

I am in OKC, Moore to be precise. I am glad to see another from this area, should help me not to miss any area happenings. Do you make it down to our Lego store much?

I had about 20 sealed SW sets after I got back into Lego. Then I opened them so I could store them in baggies to save space, and let me tell you, I am so much happier and enjoying my legos so much more since I opened them.

Welcome to the forum.

Hello fellow Okies. I'm in Tulsa, and got back into legos for the exact same reason, I now have kids..... My 7 yr and 4 yr boys love them, well at least the ones I let them play with.. I will have to say I love colleting sets, and my boys like to play with the bulk bricks more. My 7yr is excited when I bring home a new set but a couple of days later he's back to MOCing. I've been to the OKC store once when we visited the Lego display at the mall. The family is going to California in October so we are going to Legoland, and the other Cali stops..

Nice to meet you.

Hello Brian, welcome to Eurobricks! It's nice to hear a dad supoorting/joining his kid's passion for LEGO. I hope I'll do the same when I have my own kids. I'm sure you'll enjoy the forums here, be sure to check out the SW forum, where your fellow SW fans are waiting to welcome you. default_satisfied.gif
