grindinggears Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Well there is nothing really special to this moc. It's looking awfully but I will anyway share the links to my Brickshelf gallery and a blog post about it with you: Brickshelf gallery Blog post in English Blog post in German Quote
prateek Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 This is really nice! You got the headlights nicely, but the roof could be a bit lower Quote
grindinggears Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 the roof could be a bit lower Oh yes, but then the springs for the trunk door wouldn't have fit in. Sometimes my model reminds me of the Daihatsu Materia which imo is the worst looking car ever. Quote
DLuders Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 This Lego Technic car model is the first representation I've seen of the Toyota IQ electric microcar (pictured below), which was the Japanese Car of the Year for 2008. There's a lot of Lego pieces crammed into a small space! Kudos to you, grindinggears! Quote
grindinggears Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 There's a lot of Lego pieces crammed into a small space! I counted the pieces for you when disassembling The result is 1139 pieces in total containing 7 PF elements, 8 gears (none is used for the drivetrain) and lots of those little connectors Quote
