In 1944 there was a contest held to see what company can build an amphibious supply truck for the biggest invasion of mankind Operation Overlord. This is one of the final three picked for selection. The nickname the floating box truck for it's unusual shape as stuck with most who served as it's driver and maintence crews. It can six rifles in the back or one load of rockets. The sad part of this is that many were lost during the war and so were many of the crews. The main problem with this vehicle was explained by Captain Justin Warner who explained, "The vehicle is slow as it's in it's amphibious mode and isn't all reliable on sandy beaches. The vehicle which played a part on Iwo Jima were bogged down in the beach sand. Some were lucky and were able to move past the sands to be destroyed by enemy artillery. The vehicle in my opinion is one of the stranger vehicles of history. It has many supports as well as people against it."

IMO, this is one of your best MOCs. I like those treads, and the chain gun ammo looks good on it. One suggestion would be to fix up the front a bit, with bigger headlights.:classic:

One problem...No side windows. I'm pretty sure Amphibious Vehicles should be sealed!

Its good! I like how simply small it is. Looks like it could be left, Like a Glider, Leave the ammo and come back for it later.
