BearHeart Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I'm just wondering how long sets are available in stores for once they are released. How long does LEGO go on producing a set after its initial release? I'm planning on buying the King's Castle set but I'm hesitant about getting it now because of the pinkish hue problems with the horse barding and certain torsos. I bought two Knights Showdown sets and they both had the pink hue problem and I want to avoid this in the more expensive sets. I want to wait until maybe January 2011 in hopes that LEGO might have solved the white/pink problem by then. Will I still have a good chance of picking up this set then? BTW, I live in Canada. Quote
The Crazy One Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Hmm.......I can still find Rhakshi from 2003 in South Africa. It all depends on the store, but on average, I would say it lasts a year and a half. Quote
awesomebrick Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I beleive different sets get different amounts of time on sale depending on how well the set is selling. If a set is selling well LEGO will keep produceing it,on the other hand if a set is not selling well LEGO will not sell it for long. awesomebrick Quote
