"Kingdoms" question

Does anyone here happen to know if the new "Jester" and "Wizard" impulse sets from the "Kingdoms" line are going to be available in North Amercia?

I've checked on lego.com and though I see them available elsewhere, they are not showing up for Canada (where *I* reside).

We got ripped-off and didn't get the "Good Wizard" impulse set from the last 'Castle' line and I'm wondering if that's going to happen again with this new series.

Anyone have any information?

I think LEGO learned their lesson and is making the Impulse sets and the Advent Calendar available everywhere.

Does TRU usually place the impulse sets a part from the other lego sets? I've been in my local TRU a few times now (to pick up kingdom sets) and I have yet to see any impulse ... maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

Does TRU usually place the impulse sets a part from the other lego sets? I've been in my local TRU a few times now (to pick up kingdom sets) and I have yet to see any impulse ... maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

As far as my local TRU is concerned, there is a conventional aisle of LEGO where much of the larger and medium sets are located, and then there is an "island" type shelf in the middle of the main aisle of the store that has much of the smaller/impulse sets. Just beware that the impulses there are $4.49 (a .50 cent markup I believe from the new impulse price).

Good question. Being in Canada, I was also worried about it since I don't see it on the S@H website for Canada and the fact that the other wizard a few years back was not available.

Since they're showing up in US stores I'm pretty sure they'll be available in Canada as well eventually.

I was in Toys R Us last night and saw both the Jester and the Wizard. Only one Jester, but seemed to be 5-6 wizards left. You should have no problem finding them in Toys R Us soon, seeing as I'm in Newfoundland. ^^

These run out really fast; I went last weekend to a ToysRUs and they had a shelf of jester sets for sale; I went today and there were none left.

I bought them both here in Ottawa last week. Check TRU. They also had the new castle and the carriage sets. Happy hunting!

I got both Impulse sets at the TRU in Moncton a week ago, and also saw them at the TRU in Fredericton on Friday. I'd say if you don't see them yet you will within the next couple of days.

Thanks for the info/feedback everybody. I guess I'll just have to TRY and remain patient, since we don't have ANY LEGO stores here in Canada, yet. (first one is due this summer...IN CALGARY! ugh...doesn't help ME out one bit)

See, I was in TRU, too...but, no impulse sets at all for the new lines.

Hmm...maybe the truck was delayed. Yeah, that's it! (does 'wishful thinking' really help? LOL)

They had a handful of Jester and Wizard impulses at TRU Woodbridge if you're willing to make the trip. Of course, I saw these about a week ago so fingers crossed there's still some left. There were only about 4 of each last I checked.
