A Excel Database

hi Guys

just a quick query here, do any of you keep a Database of your parts for quick reference of availability if so do you use microsoft excel?

I really want to spend the next few weeks setting one up, but dont want to do this to find I can download a ready made template or you lot have already made one and shared it.

or is there a online alternative?

any info would be great

Have you visited peeron, you can get a pert list.

Or even Bricklink where you can part out sets.

I never tried to make a comprehensive excel chart .. but these may be a start

Brickstore is also worth a look.

It is essentially the inventory aspect of Peeron for Bricklink - and has more besides, such as converting MLCAD models into a Bricklink wanted list.
