Shasat Spacerider Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 (edited) I'm making my first modular MoC. This is going to be a flat-iron style Lego Store. Since I'm a newb at mocing, so C&C and tips would be more than welcome. Edited May 31, 2010 by Shasat Spacerider Quote
awesomebrick Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Looks great so far! I can't wait to see the finished product Are you planning on building it in real life? If not I suggest using LEGO universe mode if you don't already have it so you can get all the pieces in the right colour. Good luck! awesomebrick Quote

Good luck! awesomebrick I do plan on building it in real life, and once it's finished, I would order it via DesignbyMe if I could afford it, and I have the feeling the cost is going to be OVER 9000!!! I do have universe mode, it's just I have yet to get used to it. I have LDraw too. Quote
awesomebrick Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Once again very nice reminds me of a star destroyer in a building I forgot in my last comment that I love the unusual shape! Once this is finished and if your a millionaire and can afford tom build this in real life than you should definatly get frontpaged! Also may I ask how many storeys it will have? awesomebrick Quote
Shasat Spacerider Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 I'm planning it to have 3 floors, like most modular buildings. Once I build it in real life, I'll need to get my hands on dozens of 3221 City Trucks for the boxes . Update: BUS STOP!!! Quote
prateek Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Looking good so far! Good luck, you'll need it since LDD is a pain in the @$$ with hinges. Quote
Randal Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Looking good so far! Good luck, you'll need it since LDD is a pain in the @$$ with hinges. I'll second the hinges. looks good. A little bit ketchup and mustardy, but then, for all I know you're first floor has a Mickey D's in it... I really like your floor design. I hope you're willing to share the lxf. Quote
meschepers Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 (edited) I have the feeling the cost is going to be OVER 9000!!! WHAT 9000?! That can't be right. Can it? Model looks great. The first step picture you posted looks like the beginnings of a Star Destroyer to me. I was confused by it at first. Edited May 31, 2010 by meschepers Quote
