BobaFett2 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) I love Adventurers. I have a thing where when I never plain like something: I either love it or think it's dumb. Thus, my absolute obsession with Adventurers and Space. I also love Island Xtreme Stunts and BIONICLE for the stories. Anyways. Here's the temple. It's a bit playable, true to my love of tooling around with things and making things spin and fall. For more pics, go to my Brickipedia Blog. There are two minifigures: One is meant to be similar to Achu, with a hat like his and a wierd staff. The other is an archer, a forest protector. The forest is filled with dangerous creatures (I had a scene set up where the Crocodile was eating a minifigure and his partner was trying to kill it). Please comment! kritikaal Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 i willl add my so called words of wisdom, and whilst i appreciate your enthusiaism, your execution is somewhat lacking. dont take this the wrong way, but, this seems slightly thrown togethor. the 1x8 red technic brick destroys any aesthetic value in the piece. maybe you could try to replace the bley baseplate with a more 'jungle' coloured one. green or tan, then maximise your foliage, the concept of the 'amazon', should really include much foliage, far mare than a small tree, and a handfull of organic pieces. your water fearure is somewhat interesting, but is far to 'square', dont make the water as a 12x32 block, attempt to simulate the organic curves of a a natural water source. instead of an epic river, you create a resevoir. your temple is intersting, although slightly raiinbow coloured. Yeah, I kind of agree. It's rainbow colored because I had already used bricks on my Castle. I liked the water, but I don't have many curved parts as I preferred older sets with blocky shapes. I mostly wanted to see what I could make with a bunch of big parts. (I tried that a second time and got a modestly large castle, yet to be posted). I don't have any other baseplates large enough for this, but I already took this apart so I can't renovate it. Thank you for commenting! Quote
