Kerntechniker Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Well a long time ago, i've build some roman soldiers, please give some comments. thx Quote
Zorro Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Looks nice . I used these torsos often for romans too, although I used red legs (or blue ones with the blue armor-version, representing either the East- or WestRoman Empire) and I had stickers on the big round standard shields. I also remember using yellow parrots-on-a-lance. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Very good custom work here 'Kerntechniker' - looks like how Lego themselves would have done Roman figures in classic castle style ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Admiral Ron Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Very nice for using just LEGO products! Great Job! Quote
BrickPerfection Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Quite nice considering that you only used standard Lego pieces! Can they form a turtle? As a kid I always wanted to amass a roman army able to get into that very formation, but I never suceeded Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Very cool Roman Legion. One of the best I have seen without special aftermarket parts. I can't wait for the series two minifigures to come out with the Spartan dude. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 These are some really nice Romans, Kerntechniker! I like the simple but effective design. Of course some improvement would be needed - esp. for the helmets. But since there are no official bricks there til now, you even can't use them. The red Classic Castle torsos fit very well. Well done! Klaus-Dieter Quote
