zero1312 Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 (edited) Like many others I was pretty disappointed with Zurgs Gun, so I pulled out my parts bin. And this is the result: Much better, no? EDIT: Sorry for the mediocre picture quality. Edited May 23, 2010 by zero1312 Please resize to 800 wide before reposting and review the Site Gudielines. Thanks Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I hope it's not spamming if my comment is the single word: WIN! Quote
prateek Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Whoa that's awesome! I like that the bionicle wheel thingy works well with this Quote
Oky Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Hehe. Very nice. Still not quite true to the movie version, but heaps better than that stupid bionicle shooter! I'm working on a movie-accurate version myself... Quote
Toa_Of_Justice Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 At first, some of the links didn't work when I clicked them. They seem to be better now though. zero1312, your MOC is very impressive. For a moment, I thought the barrels could spin around a central axle (like a Gatling gun), but the location of the power meter quickly put that thought to rest. If I were to modify your MOC, I would move the power meter out of the way of the barrels so they could spin around. I don't know how accurate that would be though. -Toa Of Justice Quote
BrickPerfection Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Simple, yet effective and ggod part usage! However since it's not too accurate to the movie version, I feel it would be nice to see some more solutions for replacing Zurd's gun; I'm curious to see Oky's! So yeah, it looks pretty sweet and certainly is a major improvement over the standard one, but could be more accurate.v Quote
squidman85 Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Much better. It would be cool,if it worked as a gatling gun. Quote
Delta 38 Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 That's great. Having been a recent owner of this set (in fact, got it two days ago), I must say this is a great improvement over the original. I'll consider modifying mine too, but currently I don't have the parts. While this may not be entirely accurate, I think it's good enough. I'll also modify other parts, if I have the time and pieces for it. Quote
