vladoniki Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) Hi friends! I have build a small family house. It is modular type and it has 3 floors. The house still does not have any interior, but I will make some when I have more time. Comments and criticism are welcome! Edited May 18, 2010 by vladoniki Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Very nice. It looks great in you street layout too. Quote
prateek Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Very nice indeed. That balcony looks great, but to add to it, I'd recommend putting inverted slopes under it for support Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Very sweet looking 'vladoniki' - using the McDonalds colour selector eh ? - it's very nice ! Can't wait to see an interior, so I'm a conformist! ! Quote
samurai-turtle Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 It reminds me of the house I built in LDD, both being yellow. But, I used black instead of red for the second color. (It is in Design By Me if you want to check it out, I have the same name over their.) I do have one suggestion for you, the back fence I would try to make it one color. Quote
vladoniki Posted May 19, 2010 Author Posted May 19, 2010 Thanks to all! samuraiturtle, would you please send me a link to see your LDD model? I use the rest bricks from my fire station and yellow building, so the colors are like McDonalds - red and yellow. I will make more details, also the fence will be one colored. More of the details now are taken from Lego 4996. Quote
samurai-turtle Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 samuraiturtle, would you please send me a link to see your LDD model? Sure, here is the house I was talking about with another one to boot. Quote
vladoniki Posted May 20, 2010 Author Posted May 20, 2010 Sure, here is the house I was talking about with another one to boot. They are great! You have to build them with bricks. Quote
samurai-turtle Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 They are great! You have to build them with bricks. I probably would but 1- I do not think I have enough of the right bricks, 2- I do not want to spend the money from Design By Me to get the bricks, 3- It was before the palette change in April and I would have to adjust the houses a little, and 4- I was mostly just board when I design the houses and was never planing to build then in reality. vladoniki Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 I have made some changes and the house has an interior. First floor - kitchen Second - living room Third - bedroom Quote
Artifex Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Great! Thx for the interior pics! Looks really great! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 (edited) Nicely done Vlad! The design of the house is pretty decent, though I'm not so sure about the yellow-red color scheme. Looks kinda odd to me, especially since the adjacent building is also yellow. May we know the reason behind the colors? Edited June 25, 2010 by KielDaMan Quote
vladoniki Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 (edited) May we know the reason behind the colors? Thanks! Yellow bricks are my favorite colored Lego bricks. I had some spare red bricks so I have combined them with yellow bricks. And that is the result. Yellow, red and black combination of colors looks not bad - I think it is interesting.
