paul_delahaye Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 This is really a question for anyone in the UK who has ordered the Lithium Battery and charger from the Lego.com website, on the site it says to order transformer 8887 to be able to charge the battery, the picture shows a European 2 pin charger/transformer, is this what you actually get or did they substitute this for a 3 pin UK plug instead when you ordered it? I've asked Lego directly but still no answer yet. I guess if it is a European plug, which I cannot believe they would be able to supply for a children's toy, I guess you just use a travel adaptor. Matt Dawson Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) I believe there are UK/EU differnet plugs on them. Though as I only use 9V stuff, I'm the wrong person to comment... Edited May 17, 2010 by Matt Dawson Quote
AndyC Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I bought one from shop@home and it came with a standard UK 3 pin plug, so I reckon you can order it with confidence. :) Quote
Duq Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Though as I only use 9V stuff, I'm the wrong person to comment... Didn't stop you from doing it anyway ;-) I've ordered one from Ireland and indeed it has the big ugly 3-pin plug. Quote
Freddie Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 When I ordered mine, it was specified on the receipt that it was the DE-version I would receive (i.e. the type of plug used in Norway), so I would be surprised if it wouldn't be possible to call customer service and have the order modified to include the desired variant.
