Rayskull Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) With LDD I can now revisit them... This was the first: (The FragSkull) The rest I've built with the help of LDD, I haven't been able to take pictures of many of their physical forms (need a new camera). I try to make them as small as possible but roomy on the inside. This is my last ship the Crossbones: The wings swing down for landing. Hatch opens to a roomy interior. Yet its so small- note the SNOT on the bottom You can find my current LDD creations under Skull-Forever Edited May 15, 2010 by Rayskull Quote
MrTools Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Fine job on these, my favorate is the X wing style one. However my one suggestion would be replacing the blue with red. Quote
Rayskull Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 Funny thing someone took my LDD of the first one and added red to it, as well as a golden tooth. By the way all on these are build-able. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Very nice - skull's - nice and evil ! Cool work there 'Rayskull' - I too also like the X-wing style one, but still the photographed one is the best ! I'm a conformist! 'Rayskull' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Rayskull Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 Thanks guys, I have pieces on order to finish the X wing (skull and Crossbones) version now, I can't wait. Thanks guys! Quote
Icee77 Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 man oh man! you should build build an entire skeleton. like have bone ships, rib ships etc. that would be SO AWSOME!!! Quote
Rayskull Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 man oh man! you should build build an entire skeleton. like have bone ships, rib ships etc. that would be SO AWSOME!!! Trust me I've been considering it! Quote
Skulls_Eye_Schooner_Sailor Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Those are very cool man! I am wondering, can mini-figs fit in them? Also that's funny someone gave one of yours red eyes and a gold tooth! Ever consider building Sinistar? Quote

I am wondering, can mini-figs fit in them? Also that's funny someone gave one of yours red eyes and a gold tooth! Ever consider building Sinistar? most of them are rather roomy! Cross-section pics: My smallest one can not fit the figs backpack, but does have a front access port and landing gear (all of them have some form of landing gear) The pilot in this one is in full gear and is sitting in an ejection seat that shoots out the back, the landing gear is normally closed flush but here it is awkwardly open a little. My favorite has lots of room for his gear, a pistol can store behind his seat. This one doesn't need a cross-section Edited May 17, 2010 by Rayskull Quote
JimBee Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Nice work on these, though I think the real-life model would look much better with white teeth over dark bley ones. Interesting cockpit designs, too. Quote
Rayskull Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 ^ Yeah my avatar doesn't exist anymore, however the first LDD ship is how it would look with my current style. Below -awesomeness: Quote
Skulls_Eye_Schooner_Sailor Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Those are very nice, man! I like the interiors you gave them! Very cool! You should get the bricks and make them for real! Very cool base, can we get more views of it? Oh, and you should build this out of LEGO bricks, that would be cool! Quote
Rayskull Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) ^ I did build it, I do intend to rebuild my muted updated version. The only thing here that I designed recently is the Crozzbone (I've been calling it) You see, I had finished my dream collection, but I realized that the Fragskull was bigger than the outpost. That set in motion a effort to make ever smaller but fully functional ships. Started these protos: which led to these Edited May 18, 2010 by Rayskull Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 These are great. My favorite is the one with the sharp teeth. The base is excellent as well. Quote
Skulls_Eye_Schooner_Sailor Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Very nice base. I like those prototypes as well. Although, you could always just make a bigger base. Quote
Rayskull Posted May 22, 2010 Author Posted May 22, 2010 (edited) One last bit of fun: I admit I did not make the wallpaper that I pasted these over. Edited May 22, 2010 by Rayskull Quote
