Jargo Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Not that anyone would know me. I'm Brickenhead town dweller from Brickenhead (obviously) which is near Lugopool in the Brickish isles.. I'm a long time fan/collector/builder though there have been periods where for lack of funds I've had to miss out on lots of Lego sets. Primarily I'm interested in town/city Lego and I'm curently Embarked on an ambitious project to build a large tabletown. starting at the grass roots level and building up. So for example all the city services and utilities are my current area of collect/build. followed by mercantile services. with the domestic and leisure side of my town being the last to fall in place when I finally get there. I also tap into various other themes such as adventurers, agents, space, castle but mostly for specific parts. I probably buy more lego parts from bricklink and ebay than i do actual sets. My other big idea is a secret underground base inside a volcano which will be huge as I intend to build the entire island the volcano sits on. and with limited budget my projects are years in the making. Aside from lego I like to press wild flowers and create hybrid lifeforms in my secret underwater laboratory. I'd better not divulge too much about that though. I'm the brother of Tony Priestman of the Brickish Association and it's pretty much down to him that I have a love of the brick. Though we differ in that he's a bit of a purist and I welcome anything new and shiney and possibly big and '<insert that tiresome argument>'. Don't shoot me, it saves on bricks, when you're building big it matters. To me anyway. anything else you want to know just ask. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Welcome. It sounds like you already come from an extensive brick world. I too have some long range projects going so I wish you best of luck with yours. Hope to see some WIP photos of your town sometime maybe. Quote
Milan Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Welcome! That underground base sounds great...hope we will see some pictures soon! Have fun! Quote

Jargo Posted September 16, 2010 Author Posted September 16, 2010 Sorry it's taken me so long to reply to this thread, I've a lot of personal 'stuff' going on and not had as much time to spend on forums as I would have liked. Thanks for the welcomes and when I have stuff to share I will post updates. For now though all my bricks are in my attic behind a tonne of mess. It's killing me that I can't access them and don't have the room to build stuff even if If I wanted to. I keep buying sets and parts and the boxes keep piling up but it's a fruitless exercise really. I'm hoping to be able to build some stuff over winter. Probably Brickenhead town based. We shall see what happens. Quote
