I saw it yesterday. Don't read any further if you haven't seen it and don't want it to be spoiled for you.

I must say I liked it, although I did have some problems with it. Too many ideas seemed recycled from the first one. In the first one we had a bad guy who created his own version of Iron Man suit. In this one it's more or less the same, but this time we have a suit worn by Whiplash and multiple Iron-Man inspired robots. So once again Tony Stark fights against his own technology used by the bad guys. There's also the War Machine guy who uses Stark's own suit, first as an enemy, then as an ally. And BTW how did Rhodes learn to operate the suit so fast? It took Stark a significant amount of time to learn to control it in the first movie, and he was the guy who created it! I've already read an explanation somewhere that between parts 1 and 2 Tony let Rhodes wear the suit once or twice, but they should've at least mentioned it on screen, the way it is it looks like a plothole to me... Oh, and they went a little over the top with this evil robot army near the end.

But it had a lot of good moments and the humour was OK. I loved the use of Captain America's shield. :classic: The acting was mostly good and I really liked how Justin Hammer tried to copycat Stark - not only his technology but also his behaviour and sense of humour.

Overall, it was a good action, comic book-style movie, and I expected just that. It was entertaining and fun. Definitely one of the best superhero movies I've seen in a while. Can't really tell right now if it was better or worse than part one, I'll have to see it again (on DVD probably) to decide.

Those who have seen it - share your thoughts!
