My random thoughts-minifigures can't be naturally fat. Not even the new collectible sumo wrestler. Just a fact of plastic life there. I guess they protest fast food? Mine do, at least, but ice cream is okay (Grand Emporium).

Luckily before my "dark age" my mother bought my two bros and I each one of those 1998 promo McD's and TLC provide a couple pizzerias. I do however plan on building a new restaurant. Thinking of names; Brix Bros Burgers, Elements (more a Lego nightclub name), A-B-S Place to Eat , 5 Studs Burgers

I have 6 of those 1998 McDonald's promos. After seeing the mini-model in Winter Toy Shop, I turned one into a Jack-in-the-Box. 2 are still in the box awaiting ideas to turn them into something other than McD's.

Has anyone else modified a 3833-Krusty Krab Adventures (a SpongeBob Squarepants set)? I bought one and turned it into another burger restaurant, using the minifigs as part of the decoration like Ronald McDonald.

My Town has the burger stand that came with the City Monorail set besides that I have the BBQ stand and pop corn stand in my park along with the ice cream stand at the grand emporium .

Personally, I like a nameless logo, just as most Lego sets have omitted brand names in order to be sold in multiple countries. The burger logo from the monorail/burger stand and the ice cream logo that appears in several paradisa sets are good examples. I like the small brick-built Chicken as well, and will probably use that in my town for small restaurant.
