Seeing 'Lilsniffs' LDD chicken........call it 'BRICK ROOSTER' (we have a chain in Oz called Red Rooster).

This topic is good enough to suggest a contest eh ?

I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

I think the one that Freebee posted would make a great logo/statue/sign. Now we need to decide on the name.

Here are the ones so far:

Brick'n Chicken

Brick Chick

Brick Rooster

But I still think we can do better.

Perhaps a very short name, so we could brick build signs?

it seems chicken is the way forward, shame really i prefer a seafood chain called "block lobster" but i will add me touch for the chicken " LEG 'O' CHICKEN" :classic:

I think 4 letters is the limit now the next thing, Will it be cafe' conner standard or city corner like? I vote Cafe' Corner standard.

I would suggest we agree on a color scheme, and then let individual builders create the restaurants however they want (modular, classic, whatever). That way, more people can participate. After all, not every McDonald's restaurant looks exactly the same as every other McDonald's restaurant, but they do share certain features (logo, signage, color scheme, terrible food, etc.).

Lol about the terrible food. Also, I totally agree.

So they obvious color scheme would use red/yellow/white (for a chicken, also the mcdonalds colors)

But I think we should go for something less obvious. Any ideas?

I like that brick built chicken! Did you make that, or is it from something?

What about the name POLLegO.

Wait why POLLegO. What?

Wmanidi

It's a portmanteau - 'pollo' is Spanish for 'chicken'.

If we're going for a truly generic fast food joint, consider red and yellow for the color scheme. Marketing research in that field has shown that those two colors are the most appetizing, which is why they're prominently featured by McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and others. Plus, the red and yellow plays off the coloring on the brick-built chicken!

I have an idea, but it may or may not work. The restaurant should be in seperate buildings. I made this mockup of the drive through in LDD, with a new chicken.

Here is my example:

We could brick build initials (like KFC) much more easily I think.

Some more suggestions:

CB (Chicken Brick)

BB (Bird Blocks)

LLC (LegoLand Chicken)

Or how about we use up all those annoying torsos and open Timmy's Chicken?

Design a standard brick built "T" with a chicken on top?

OK, maybe I'm getting a little silly but it is Friday and tomorrow is opening day for my football team.

Any takers?

Another name I thought of: 'The SNOTROCK Cafe'

I'm on board with this one. Especially since a have a decent amount of chicken legs.

If the name were an acronym the sign could be brick-built.

KFB - Kentucky Fried Brickin.

or McFigs.

Kentucky Fried Brickin': It's Finger Brickin' Good.
