emilyjem Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Hi there, my name's Emily, I have recently emerged from the DARK AGES and started buying LEGO sets for myself and hiding them from the children!! Haven't really ventured into creations of my own yet, but I have a particular fascination with cataloging, sorting, listing and otherwise finding excuses to run my fingers through piles of coloured plastic bricks. I am into a lot of different themes (except Star Wars, Lucas tax sucks!) and particularly like collecting the little "impulse" sets that can be such masterpieces of minimalism. I'm a mother of two, mature student doing science, run my own website company, and have many other projects, so I don't really have time for LEGO, but I just can't help myself! Anyway hope to hang around and learn from you more experienced types. Cheers Quote

You may be interested in ANZFOL, the hangout for Australian and New Zealand fans of LEGO, and perhaps we'll see you at Brick Expo - Australia's newest LEGO event held in Canberra on the 8th of August. I too run a website company, but I have a feeling I'm not much competition for you as I design websites as more of a hobby than an income.
