Hey everybody!

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Daniel (or Dan), and I've been a Lego collector for about the past 20 years. I packed away my Legos while I was in school (didn't want the distraction), but now that I'm out, I've started collecting again. I'm a bit old-school, and I like the more classic themes, especially Technic, Train, and Pirates. Even though it's a newer theme, I like Star Wars stuff too. That being said, I really just focus my resources on Technic MOCs. I'm not overly fond of some of the cheesy new themes. Sorry.

Anyways, there are some great builds on this forum, and I look forward to learning from everybody. I'm currently working on several Technic MOCs, so maybe I'll post pics of them once they are completed.

And just a side note: I can't spell worth a hoot, so my apologies for my deficiencies in this area.

I look forward to spending some time on this forum.

Thanks,

Daniel

Hello, Daniel.

My story is very similar.

Don't wait until your MOCs are completed...if they are complex, you can make a progress tread.

Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome!

Milan, the MOC I'm working on is a remote control farm tractor based off the New Holland T9000. I thought about starting a build thread, but I'm constantly rebuilding sections of it, and a thread about may be too confusing....lol. I'm still trying to learn how to build with this studless technic system. Maybe once I get the bulk of the motorized systems completed, I'll post up, then continue to work on farm attachments and the body of the tractor.

I'm also working on an off roader, as well as a WWII aircraft, although I'm not exactly sure which aircraft I'm going to build. I have a 16 cylinder radial engine and 3 blade variable pitch prop mostly completed, and I was trying to build a Grumman Avenger. The wing fold mechanism has me whooped, so I'm thinking about switching aircraft types and building something with a more conventional wing fold, or maybe switching gears altogether and building a twin engine bomber. I dunno. This is a long term project, and I've got to collect a bunch of 11x3 curved panels before I continue.

My problem is I have too many projects for the amount of time I have.

Anyways, thanks again!

Yes I understand you about having few projects at the same time.

While it is a nice to have 3 different models, just to brake the monotony, it is very hard, at least for me, to divide parts for the each model...I mean I am running low on some parts such as motors, wires and receivers.

I am working on a 3 different mocs for an upcoming event, and my budget is low, so I can not order new parts. I know how you feel...
