He didn't buy them, we all know that. Matter of fact, he's going to admit it in his next post or I'm going to kick his megablocks.

Now, let's keep an eye on the seller and see if they show up again, or maybe he divides them up and starts posting smaller lots of minifigs.

I got a shadow over my head. :cry_sad: Well, here it goes... I did not buy them. *shadow leaves*

I agree, we should watch this.

Are you really? If you think you can just put these up on Bricklink for $5 each and they'll go like hotcakes then you're in for a surprise. Your run-of-the-mill minifigs only sell for ~$2ea on Bricklink, and even then it's only at a rate of one or two of each figure per month. If you put them up for $5, you're going to have a lot minifigs hanging around for a very long time!

Actually, I saw some pretty rare minis in there, like the Watto. Witch sells for a lot these days. But true, these figures will hardly ever be bought...

If he puts the auction back up, I may place a bid

I did the math and there should be around 2,310 minifigures in this lot. ;)

I tried weighing my Scorpion knights which I had handy. I've got 1,133 of the same minifig, helmet and sword in a plastic case. It came out to 10 lbs. including the case. So your estimate is surprisingly accurate.

However, that lot on ebay wasn't pure minifigs and minifig parts. There seemed to be a fair number of pieces in there. I'd guess there were approximately 1,000-1,300 full minifigs in there. Also there are a lot of cheap minifigs in there. I'd guess you could end up selling each for about $1.50-$2 on average when everything is said and done.
