Lego Email Survey?

I got this email the other day. It seemed an odd subject for spam, since its not for porn or viagra. But the grammer is a bit off, so I thought I'd ask.

Dear recipient of LEGO reports

Some days ago we send you an email asking you to give your impression of the received LEGO reports by using this link:

We have not yet registered your answers.

As it is important to the LEGO Group to get as many answers as possible to be able to make better reports, we kindly ask you to use this opportunity to present your impression.

Please also remember that persons participating in the survey have the chance of winning a large Star Wars - package from LEGO.

Those aren't spam surveys - I believe that they were sent to everyone who ordered a copy of The Brick 2010 magazine, since I received an e-mail with the same survey link (probably with a different "password" extension in the link, though) saying that they would like to get my feedback on the magazines.

I've already completed my survey a while ago, and it does seem legit.

I think it's highly unlikely an email like this would be spam, since LEGO has sent the email only to those who requested books. I got one myself and have filled out the survey.

But the grammer is a bit off, so I thought I'd ask.

Firstly, the company is Danish, and LEGO's communications can often sound a little strange, I've found.

Secondly, even your grammar is slightly off, seeing as you can't spell "grammar".

I think you're being a bit paranoid.

Same as above. I ordered a copy of The Brick and a few weeks after I got it I got an e-mail just like that one and filled out. No other source should know that I received The Brick except TLG. It didn't seem odd to me at all.

I don't think you're being paranoid, I think that email has SPAM written all over it. I'm sure with the confirmation of the other members it is indeed legit, but I believe you had every reason to be concerned.

But seriously, I don't think this email looked spammy at all, as meschepers said, how would anyone else know that I had requested the books? I suppose better safe than sorry though.
