benny Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Today, i displayed some big houses e.g. 10182,10185,10190,10197 and other MOC house on my Sofa in living room. As three of cats may damage them, i had no time to display other MOC train and 80s city sets. please enjoy my small lego street, you may see one of the cats. Quote
ChefAgf Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Nice, I like your post office and service station very much! Also the extra Green grocer floor fits nicely to the building. Quote

I love my MOC post office and service station too. If another post office will be released later , i will still also kept them and change them into train station or government office. The extra green grocer floor was made by some sand green and tan color brick! Much cheap than buying a new one. I plan to make a 10182 1/F too! Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Nice town layout 'Benny' - great flow of buildings ! Plus that extra floor on your GG - very good, nice colour selection ! Keep up the good work 'Benny' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Lord Arjay Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Very nice benny. Your collection of sets and MOCs intergrate well together. Well Done! Quote
benny Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 (edited) Very nice benny. Your collection of sets and MOCs intergrate well together.Well Done! Thanks! I will continue to develop my town in classic with western style but i also add the chinese, japanese and Hong kong special style inside the house. Actually, i made the mistake during taking the photograthy. For the extra floor, it should be 1/F then the effect must be better! Let me re-arrange it later! Edited April 23, 2010 by benny Quote
fred67 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Very nice, very well done... both LEGO sets and MOCs work great together. Is there some reason the road plates don't seem to line up well? Everything else seems so perfect that the misaligned road plates stand out like a sore thumb. Quote

RoryoCox Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Very nice Street. Already said but the MOC look very well with the official sets. I also like the way you modded some buildings e.g. the Fire Brigade you add the roadplate Well Done Quote
greg3 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Great looking layout.... the buildings and vehicles are fantastic and go really well with the modular buildings (looking forward to seeing more... assuming the cats don't get them!!) Quote
benny Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 Maybe it's because in some of the photos the street is on a sofa and not a flat surface. Yes!!! As i placed all of them on the sofa, it is not flat. In this case, the road plate is not even! Besides, three of the cats at home were also jumping in and out on my lego town, they also made the plate uneven! Quote
BlueBard Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Wonderful layout, indeed! Your MOCs are great, and nicely displayed with the official modulars Quote
Redcross Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 nice job Benny. I like the curve produced on the post office roof and your willingness to use those primary colours Lego is famous for. Perhaps a life size moc of a cat scratching post may be of value. Quote
benny Posted April 25, 2010 Author Posted April 25, 2010 nice job Benny. I like the curve produced on the post office roof and your willingness to use those primary colours Lego is famous for. Perhaps a life size moc of a cat scratching post may be of value. My cat is uausally sitting nearby when i displayed any lego in living room. While i made the lego MOC on the working table, she may steal one by one lego parts. So that i prepare so many old lego parts for her playing. Quote
WhiteFang Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Wow, great display down there. I am really envy of the space you have, to display your Town Buildings and Creations. It's really very nicely set up. I even noticed some of the familiar MOCs down there, like the Red Bettle. Quote

As i was holiday on that day, i displayed part of them to take the photos. I remembered the previous photos of displaying the lego was in 2008. for the beetle, i also made a white one. Quote
