benny Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I spent three days to make this apartment. It has three floors. The red and white color matched to the tan color. It has the big entrance. A pretty lady who is the property agent of the apartment. Two guests want to make a look. The agent want to sell the apartment but no one like to buy it! Why? Show you the reason later. Quote
WhiteFang Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Now, from that angle, I can't seem to see your rooftop? Is that one of the reasons why it is not "really" available for sale? That's a very nice apartment construction and I like the colour combinations used. However, I don't really like the main entrance to have the wordings on top. It doesn't really fit, but on the other hand, I really enjoy the porch design. Quote

When i used my parts and bricks to make a big building, i found my bricks and parts are not enough. In this case, it has no roof and internal design, Now, it becomes a "for sell" apartment! Quote
Skulls_Eye_Schooner_Sailor Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Very nice, but I thought you were actually selling it. Too bad Where did you get those letters? Quote
Lord Arjay Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Where did you get those letters? I'm assuming they're custom stickers. Anyway nice front of an apartment benny. Nice architectural design. Well Done! Quote
danim Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 no they are not stickers as I have a pack to, what the are are tiles with printed letters and numbers on them, they were avalable from legoland windsor for a short time Quote

The letters are not printed stickers, they are the printed tile which are from the lego key chain sets. I bought them in Singapore. Around US$6-7 for the sets, it has around 35 of letters(total around 50 parts). Hehe, this MOC apartment is only sold to the lego minifigures only. Not for human use! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I like the design and the colors. It reminds me of some of the older designs for urban high schools. Quote
bamaker Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) That's a great MOC. I think the best parts are the arch over the entry and the architecture around the windows. Beautifully done. The only nitpick I have is For Sell is incorrect -- it should say For Sale. It's a common mistake and I'm sure easily fixed with the correct letter tiles. Edited April 21, 2010 by bamaker Quote

When i made this "for sell", i also had the idea"Is it incorrect"? However, i forgot the correct word! Next time, i may make "For rent", then it will be better. (For sale) Actually, it is my experiment. I want to make a big house but i used up my red brick now. I think i have to amend the design. Quote

For Rent or For Sale would be perfect, regardless of the writing, this is a great looking building, and it really looks lonely. I want someone to rent it. Quote

I want someone to rent it. Thanks a lot! The land property(me) will find the new buyer to give more brick and parts to complete the whole building and internal design later. Quote
