Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to use the slide rail pieces in LDD? They're the ones that u can slide pieces on the edge and have a small groove in them. Some of the atlantis sets use them and im planning on making something but are not sure how to use it as pieces dont just sit on them.

Cheers

If you could post the ID of the bricks you mean, preferably with a link to BrickLink or Peeron, that would be helpful, or which of the Atlantis sets.

However, if you mean these two bricks, they slide perfectly well in LDD:

Yea i found those two after i posted the topic my only issue is that i want 32028 to have something attached to it when its inside 2653 but it doesn't have room. Is there another piece that is maybe a 32028 that's 2x2 not 1x2?

Well my dear Shroud, I think you have in fact stumbled on a connectivity error. I just noticed that is't not supposed to be like this. You are supposed to be able to place a brick on the 32028 while i'ts in the sliding position. I'll make sure this get's reported to Lego.

what i like doing is copying lego instructions into LDD, but there is a part where i need to use 4510 with 88646 sliding on it, but i dont really know how, on the other side to hold 88646 so it can only slide, it wants me to use 32532, which i am, its just getting 88646 sliding on 5410 like the instructions, is there any way to do that?

Hello new member (with the almost not writeable name...)

You may not have noticed that you resurrected an 8 year old (=dead) topic. :ugh:That's a no-go!
And not the smartest thing to start with. You could have opened a new topic about your concerns, because you are handling with different parts than the topic starter.
Even better: Tell something about yourself (give input to us) in the welcome thread and then ask your questions (to get input from us).

By the way: Your post is a better read when you use links to the parts you are writing about. I for myself have no idea what parts you are referring to.
So I have more work to answer because you refused to put more effort in your question. Just as a tip for the future.

Please refer to the help in my signature if you have questions about what is good handling around Eurobricks.

Thank you. :classic:

P.S. The part numbers you provided don't make any sense to connect (besides 4510).
