Cutty Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Go here and weep yer eyes sore... This is such a blatant ripp-off it hurts. There is another one of another character. And both side by side. Found through dumb/bad luck on Super Hero Times. Quote
snefroe Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 they are horrible, but what bothers me the most is that they hardly disguise the fact that those products are copies of lego stuff. Quote
Dragon King Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Yikes. ;) SPiderman and Wolvirene redon in a KK giant fig/bionicle style however made from megabloks. Disgusting. Quote
SuvieD Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 MB has bad quality. I wouldn't buy these as LEGO with good quality can only do so much with ball joints and such. These would be awful and probably fall apart all the time. Not to mention how stupid they look. At least with LEGO you can get a decent resemblence. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Yeah, I've seen those at my local Wall*mart. 'tis rather disgusting. :x Quote
erikutt Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Duude. They dont even look like the originals of them. If LEGO got the job atleast it would have a sligth reasemblence. Erik Quote
masterchief5611 Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 These are ooooooooooooooooooooold these came out some time ago. they already have the thing from F4. and another guy I forgot. Quote
Deinonychus Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Why is it a big revelation that Megabloks are exactly like LEGOs? :-D It's by design you know...so that you can use your super-cheap Megabloks with your high-dollar LEGOS. Heck, I've been eying the Black Costume version of that Spider-Man for a bit, just haven't gotten around to buying him yet Quote
Zane Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 The site points it out themselves!!!! The creator of this image should be shot! TT Quote
snefroe Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 on the other hand, lego now has instructions for set alternates on their own website. Megablock started with that concept more than a year ago. So basically, they're copying each other... Quote
Deinonychus Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 And that's the beauty of competition. When two companies with similar products have to go against each other, they will continually improve and add different aspects to their product in hopes of one-upping the other guy, toward the goal of gaining a bigger share of buyers. Competition spurs innovation. In the end, it's us as consumers who win! Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 LOL, wolverine has a grey face. Isn't that sweet... NO  Quote
Kahgarak Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I loathe these ugly Toa Metru-ish action figures. *gets flamethrower* Guess what'll be flamin' tonight... Quote
