Daniel Williams Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Hi, this is my review of Prince of Persia Desert Attack.... My first impressions were wow those swords look massive.. also love the new pieces...however the sand thing isn't that sturdy and can easily break. My favorite parts are the new blades and the holster thing for them. I think the blades are new, not sure if I'm right. This is my first review and last. The color scheme seems to go well with everything. However my guess is that these sets will be like Indy sets with every single one being with the main character. I'm not familiar with this movie/video game, but could tell that it might be a good movie to see. Here's why I'd recommend it to anyone... 1. The faces of each thing is amazingly detailed and sort of what you expect from a license 2. The weapons are nicely made and are awesome for custom figs 3. The horse can be used in a crusader kind of MOC if need be Here's why I wouldn't recommend it 1. The cost and size, meaning it could be wiser to wait for it to come on sale. Thnks for reading, comments and suggests welcome... PS - I'm series first and last since reviews usually come up for things faster than their release here in the states... Quote
LegoDad42 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 PS - I'm series first and last since reviews usually come up for things faster than their release here in the states... Maybe I'm getting old and don't know the new 'lingo' or shortcuts the online kids are saying. But forgive me, what does this above sentence mean?.."I'm series first and last?"...wha??? Quote
Asterios Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 (edited) This whole series is very useful for the Crusades since it now gives us many types for Saracen's from Camels, to the cool horse and the soldiers with the conical hat and even the lead character is useful as a basic Saracen trooper, the only down side is that they are flesh colored as opposed to yellow color. But forgive me, what does this above sentence mean?.."I'm series first and last?"...wha??? I think he is trying to say "I'm serious, this is my first and last review..." but, well, I'm just guessing and might be wrong -- in which case I have no idea what it means. My teenager doesn't talk like that. Looking at some of Daniel Williams's other posts, it appears to be a typo. All of his other posts are well stated, without errors.
