Dave Shaddix Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Well… here it is. I've posted random bits and pieces of this project as it’s been coming together, but until now, I have avoided sharing its scope with the masses. What you are looking at is an exceptionally small and incomplete portion of a much larger project. I've seen plenty of LEGO bands, but none of them have managed to capture the 'feel' of the moment. The concept here is to authentically capture the mood, energy, and movement of a live show, catch that snapshot of the moment. Other than constantly running out of what I need and waiting for BrickLink orders to trickle in, a major stumbling block is engraving/printing. Apparently logos, etc. may not be printed or engraved on LEGO brick unless it is for a convention, etc. I’ll have to substitute with decals, but that’s just not the route I want to take with this, so I am open to suggestions. The red backdrop may end up turning into a mosaic. My goal is to have this completed and photographed by late summer so I can break it down and haul it up to Seattle in October. There is still much to be done. Quote

Capt. Stabbin Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Nice job so far, it really captures the moment. Does the band have a name? Quote
