MOC: South Australian Police Station

Usually I use lots of panels in even the smallest of buildings, but there was a theme with this police station I wanted to use - old school !

Yep, mostly brick built with only one 3x4 panel in it's construction - of course a door and two windows plus good old slope 33 pieces for the roof.

Small country towns - have only a small cop shop and usually one officer per town - ever watched Heartbeat eh ?

This one is particularly neat LT. It has a real clean design, and I like the colors. I particularly like how you made the roof, and nice job on the custom decals.

Unrelated to your MOC, why the smileys on all your creations/topics?

Nice work lightningtiger. It's looks very good being mostly brick built. The colour scheme looks very interesting and I like that tan pattern you've achieved by placing the bricks in that way.

Well I looked at that picture yesterday - after I had built it. My wife's familiy come from a tiny town called Coonalpyn, they have a little police station so it is inspired by this one from memory except the brick work is based on what would have been done 80 years ago.

If you think this is good - the fire station is progessing nicely with the pick up truck's drive way done with roller door and small workshop.

Nice little police station. The roof looks good. Do criminals in little outback towns get transferred to larger stations with jails?

Thank you '-zenn' for that kind comment - photo sticker paper from Officeworks and a job ink jet printer - the trick is trying to get the scale right - which can be really really tricky !
