I Scream Clone Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Inspired after a session of demotivational posters with Stash2Sixx I decided to hastily cobble together this great scene after laughing till my sides hurt viewing the original. Hope you get a laugh out of it too. Cheers ISC. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 What a treat......fresh meat ! Great MOC 'ISC' - love the ball pit from hell ! It's Daddy Day Care meets Jaws ! Excellent designing and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Haha, cute little MOC there! Makes me want to go out and eat a small boy. Although you probably won't do this MOC again, if you were to improve it I would suggest only using the one type of piece for the balls (in as many colours as you can find). My personal preference would be the 1 x 1 round plates. A great use of the new shark piece, and a brilliant concept using the black border/caption image. Top effort there! Quote

Cheers ISC. Wah! Very interesting! I think some many parents will not allow the kids to play in the ball pit after they see this photo! Quote
Lord Arjay Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Nice MOC ISC! Looks like a promotional image for Jaws 5: Beware the Ball Pit. Quote
just2good Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Great MOC, ISC! I remember seeing the original demotional poster some time ago... Where's the hair from the orange shirt kid from? Quote
Zorbas Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Crude, evil, scary, mean, blockbuster-y......F****NG HILARIOUS!!! "LEGO SHARK" When a colourful scenery isn't too cute. Well done ISC! Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 WOW! You made it! Good thing I didn't even try. This looks great man, I almost choked on my food when I saw it. Nice job, lotta laughs. Very smooth working in the Arealight hair. Kids today just have no idea what we went through when we were younger. This is a great example of what fun used to be! Quote
Fires-storm Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Wow, a nice job, a truly hilarious moc you've got herE! I laughed so hard I went into a coughing fit Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Good one! If only we could do this in real... Quote
Zorbas Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 If only we could do this in real... You have no respect for animal rights? A shark could suffer in that pit. Quote
prateek Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Great job! It looks just like the other picture. Quote
WhiteFang Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 This is a funny little poster down there. Next time, before the children jump inside, they ought to check the surroundings carefully. By the way, I noticed a very familiar watermark in this moc. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 Thanks guys, glad you got a laugh My personal preference would be the 1 x 1 round plates. That was my preference too, but found I had loads of bley, brown and tan, but nowhere near enough of the bright colours, and I didn't want to put in a mammoth order for 1x1s at moment. It was the kind of MOC you build in the spur of the moment, not the wait for a fortnight BL order MOC. Great MOC, ISC! I remember seeing the original demotional poster some time ago... Where's the hair from the orange shirt kid from? Arealight, he makes nice wavy hair. WOW! You made it! Good thing I didn't even try. This looks great man, I almost choked on my food when I saw it. Nice job, lotta laughs. Very smooth working in the Arealight hair.Kids today just have no idea what we went through when we were younger. This is a great example of what fun used to be! I know we were the pioneering generation of all the evils of ball pits. I mean these days they disinfect the pits, no sharks could possibly live there these days. Wow, a nice job, a truly hilarious moc you've got herE! I laughed so hard I went into a coughing fit My response when I first saw the picture yesterday. Good one! If only we could do this in real... Very tempting, "kids go play in the deep end for a while" Cute! I'd call that a land shark. Are you the land shark? Nice video. This is a funny little poster down there. Next time, before the children jump inside, they ought to check the surroundings carefully. By the way, I noticed a very familiar watermark in this moc. Always important to throw a sacrificial child in first before sending in your heirs. Cheers for the watermark, I had missplaced it on the missus laptop and found it yesterday, so had to start using it. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Are you the land shark? Nice video. I'm only a dolphin. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Arealight, he makes nice wavy hair. When I first saw it I thought it was CW Obi-wan hair . One thing that doesn't look to good is the blond kid's face, he looks so oblivious . How much room would a shark even have, aren't they around 2 or 3 feet deep? Quote
John31388 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Great moc spot on with the other pic. Very well done Quote
Capt. Stabbin Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Nice one!! I needed a good laugh, thanks! Quote
Davey Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Loved it! I almost spit cereal all over my monitor when I saw this one. You sir...are a genius! Stacy and I will definitely have to add something like this to our layout...right next to our 'Sarlacc Sandbox'. Again, well done. Oh...and by the way... -Davey Quote
MetroiD Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Poor balls! I can't help but feel for them... first the kids, and now a shark's intestines. Yecch! Quote
