Captain'Spaulding Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Hello! I'm working on little vignette with Batman, this is my first try. I want have Batman in bizare situation... Comments on this first one are welcome! Capt'n Batsy! Quote
Oky Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I'm not a big fan of the comic at the beginning with all its cussing, but the MOC itself is great in my opinion! I love all the details on the floor and the creative plant work. Harley's new hammer is interesting too. Overall a very nice scene. Looking forward to more great Batman MOCs like this from you! Quote
BlueBard Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Funny vig! Really nice idea and design (the vig's "base" is great!) Quote
The Penguin Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Ingenious! ) Great little vig! I've always liked those little plain scenes, too bad we rarely see them made for Batman. I sure hope that Robin well be somewhere there..... to help Bats. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
RoryoCox Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Very nice little vignette. The snot technique is very good. P.S I am jealous of the minifigs you have Quote
Captain'Spaulding Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 ... I sure hope that Robin well be somewhere there..... to help Bats. ) Thanks ladies and gentlemen! ( sorry 'The Penguin' ) Spécial thanks 'The Penguin'! You give me a great idea for the next MOC Sorry Burman, I was jealous too when I see other having them! Why people don't make vignette whit those one? It's hard to find great Batman' moc! Batman figs are wonderfool! My prefers whit Studio. Thanks Oky Wan Kenobi and BlueBard! Next vignette will come soon! Quote
sok117 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I agree with Oky, the swearing is a bit unnecessary, I read the comics a lot and Batman, err Bruce Wayne Batman, isn't the type to swear and make comebacks. Maybe with Dick Greyson Batman. But for the Lego elements, you've clearly done an excellent job with this, for your first vignette this is definatley a very very good one. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Not bad at all 'Captain Spaulding' - at least you edited the bad words eh ? Holly tied to a tree, Batman ! Will something in his batbelt get him out of this mess ? So tune in next time, same bat time same bat channel ! Great work, oh yeah how about part two where he escapes and ties them up - I'm a conformist! ! Quote
The Eye Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I liked the comic and the vig was great. It's funny how they're all supposed to be ganging up on Batman when suddenly, they reveal their attractions. Looks like Bats is gonna be busy tonight! Quote
Batbrick Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Brilliant comic, I cracked up laughing! The line Batman said is so out-of-character its hilarious! Fantastic vignette too, lovely details and a good deal of studlessness without going overboard. Batbrick Away! Quote
Lord Arjay Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 As Oky and sok have already stated the swearing wasn't needed but apart from that it's a very funny idea. On the other hand the vignette is amazing for your first try. I love the detailing on the base, it's very nice. Well done! Quote
The Penguin Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Thanks ladies and gentlemen! ( sorry 'The Penguin' ) Hmpf Spécial thanks 'The Penguin'! You give me a great idea for the next MOC You're very welcome! ) Looking forward to seeing it. ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
kill will Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I couldn't stop laughing at Batman's " I"m not a f***ing toy" line, it reminded me of the first Toy Story movie. Quote
lego-maniac Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 mouarf  very funny vig and happy to see super hero in real life situation "Where are your fuc$ing powers now Batsy ?" I'm sure Robin is peeing behind the tree. But give him time to put his panty on ! over this, the base is incredible... O-o plate 1X1 in all directions in Stud Style very clever good job Capt'ain kitty ! Quote
Spyder Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 (edited) Although a great MOC, I'm sorry, but PLEASE do not make minifigures swear in your short comics. The reason is the same I hate hearing swearing in brick films: it's just so frickin hard to take it seriously once they swear. I mean, it's a plastic minifigure for crying outloud. It's almost cute when they swear! On to the MOC itself, I have to say, It is really well done. I love the vine whip Poison ivy has in her hand, and how you made the ground rocky. You also used a technique I've seen few times before for the vines holding batman. (The outer plastic rim that you tear off those leaf pieces.) EDIT: Just noticed the foliage coming up through the ground using technic bricks! Genius! Edited April 14, 2010 by Spyder Quote
