Shadows Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Rub and/or pray harder. Which specific plates are you trying to do? Quote
Joey Lock Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Rub and/or pray harder. Which specific plates are you trying to do? I believe these ones: I'd suggest sanding or something but it may not be painted on. It may just be printed like that, not able to get off. Quote
hawkyboy4 Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 Answer to Ras' question, it's for my urban roads in my apocalyptic desert. And those are the correct plates, just in dark grey (bley?). I've started on the curve piece, and managed to almost remove the middle stripe. Quote
SlyOwl Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 From what I recall of the few roadplates I have handled, the actual road bit isn't perfectly smooth, like a tile is, but has a slight texture ("acorn", I believe it is called), much like slope pieces (some of the more recent ones haven't got the texture, but any older ones do pre-2007ish). The printing on top of this is therefore harder to get off, as it gets in the cracks in the texture. If a normal cloth isn't working, a brush of some kind may get into the cracks better. Quote

Thanks, I'll try it as soon as possible. Quote
