Clash of the Titans 2010

I just watched Clash of the Titans today; and the movie inspired me to create minifigs of the two leads.

Perseus (played by Sam Worthington of Avatar fame):

Io (played by Gemma Arterton; who is also playing Princess Tamina in Prince of Persia):

All the decals were designed by me; and everything else is LEGO.

Perseus' head is an Indy head with the mustache erased!

I especially enjoyed the convenience of re-using Princess Tamina's head and hairpiece (same girl, same style - in both movies)!

I love these, especially Perseus and the simplicity of his armor (the shoulder armor). I also love how with both minifigures though you actually incorporate real lego elements into it rather then it just being decaled. Are thinking about doing more? Like the desert people or Zeus ?

This is the scene where the heroes are fighting the large scorpions.

The scorpion is modified from the Knights' Kingdom set: Scorpion Prison Cave (8876).

The minifigs are perfect! Absolutely stunning!

No complaints here. Well, not about the minifigs. I can't say the same for the movie itself.

It wasn't a particularly good movie; but I thought it was enjoyable none the less, since it was able to inspire me to create figs.
