Cleaning LEGO that smells like Smoke

Hello everyone I bought a lot of LEGO and today when it came it smelled of smoke

Does anyone have any methods for cleaning and removing smell of smoke from LEGO?

Try soaking them in a tub of detergent over night or some other cleaning product. Not hot water as you might warp the pieces.
