gylman Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 This was a recent purchase of mine on eBay. Oddly, this seller who is quite busy selling Lego on eBay did not know what they were selling. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=6036712475 Do you? Usual cost, about 10-15$ each. I got them both for $1.77 ROTFL
snefroe Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Aren't those hydraulic parts? yep! looks like them... i belive they were in the blue lego technic truck...
gylman Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 Well, to see the answer http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=legojob&itemID=5596619 Rare item. These are the only ones available on bricklink! None currently or recent listed for sale on eBay. Only present in about 9 sets. Greatly improve pneumatic functions by storing some air pressure so that you don't have to keep pumping the air to keep the mechanism under pressure. Oh, and I guess if you just attached them to the side of a truck, the would look like very nice gas tanks too  Gyl MeBT (Master of eBay Trolling)
jonfett Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Nice one gylman! Always nice to get a good deal like that, I bet if I scouted eBay more often I could save myself a bit on Lego. But I tend to be lazy and just go for BL! Jon.
gylman Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 If I think of all the time I spent scouting eBay for bargoons..... that more than makes up for the money I might save. However, mindlessly staring at page after page of ebay listings is actually a good way to relax for a few minutes. I do it several times a day, and it's as much of a hobby for me as Lego is. Truth be told, I got out of my dark ages through ebay. I actually originally started out on eBay with the purpose buying some Duplo sets for my kids. Then I started seeing all the amazing Lego sets out there, and what finally pulled me back from the dark ages was 6090 castle. That was my first eBay lego purchase for myself. The rest is a long, sordid, and very expensive story. :$
Deinonychus Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Damn nice parts there...scoring a couple tanks like that would make me dig out some of my old penumatic stuff for sure. Good going
