I didn't see a topic like that so here we go.

Are there any sets that you have built so many times that you could build them without instructions? Which one is the largest?

For me it was the 6274 Caribbean Clipper. It was my biggest set when I was a kid and I would often dismantle it and then put back together. First I used the instructions but one day my mother put it in the trash without telling me. She didn't know it was so important to me. Since it was a long time before the internet era, I had no choice but to build it without instructions. Having built it so many times, I remembered where each part should be put so I built it quite a few times from memory, maybe it wasn't 100% accurate but I'm sure it was more than 90%, which I think is not bad for a set this size.

Sadly I haven't built it for quite some time so right now I would defenitely need instructions to do that.

So which sets can you build like that?

I could once built 7420 Thunder Blazer completely from memory, BUT not anymore I think. With a try or two I might manage.

Apart from that, my achievements in this area are rather small. I can probably build most Star Wars battlepack vehicles without instructions and (thanks to a lot of alternate-model building) the collection of Daily Mirror Star Wars promotionals.

When I was a kid I could build my 588 Police station from memory.

Now I only build sets once, so it would be hard to build any set (leave Impulses aside) without instructions.

Any bionicle canister, I probably wouldn't even have to look at the book in the first place  . I think I could build the Indiana Jones river chase from memory.
